I thought it was interesting when he said that we'd have to be "weaned" off of the Fed like a drug addict. Even under ideal circumstances, this process might take 30-40 years.

Ron Paul was interviewed and discussed how the Fed wouldn't be ended overnight. It needs to be audited, promote competing currencies, and allow a gradual reclamation of power back from the Fed.

Also, here is the full interview of G. Edward Griffin in an uninterrupted 42 minute clip. Everyone should watch it.

I feel better knowing others see the true problem we have.

The left right argument has held us back from addressing the real issue. That is the Federal Reserve.

Coinage Act 1792 - SEC. 19. "And be it further enacted, That if any of the gold or silver coins which shall be struck or coined at the said mint shall be debased or made worse ... every such officer or person who shall commit any or either of the said offences, shall be deemed guilty of felony, and shall suffer death."

If we respected our money the way it used to be, and still should be, we would have WAAAAAAY less problems than what we currently have. Open the books of the Fed to an audit that a small business would be subjected to and the ensuing public outcry would force change. :patriot:

Here's a guy following Herman Cain's directions to call the Federal Reserve and ask them how things work.
