Was kicking around the idea of getting a rifle and putting Tech Sights on a 22 (Marlin 60 or a 10/22)
Is it easier to put them on one model as opposed to another? and Does someone make a filler piece to slide into the factory dovetial slot on the barrel if the factory rear sight is removed?

Put a set on a Ruger 10/22. They work much better than the factory sights. Removed the factory rear sight and covered it with a new choate forearm cover.

I put one on a 10/22. I did the front and rear sight. They are awesome. They are much better than the factory sights. Plus it's not hard to find a filler block if you remove the rear factory sight of a 10/22. :rockwoot:

I have them on my 10/22 and SKS. The 10/22 ones were super easy to install. I'm tempted to get them for my AKs.

The Marlin is slightly easier, but neither is difficult. For the 10/22 front sight, I did lay the rifle to the side, and soaked the dovetail in penetrating oil for a couple of days. That likely made things go a bit more smoothly.

BTW - the Marlin 795 uses the same sight set as the 60
