Tasers in Indiana?

Near the beginning of the video, I believe incorrect information is given regarding taser law in Indiana. Am I correct?

I am aware of no such law. He probably meant that it was department policy that officers could not carry a TASER unless they had ridden the lightning themselves. This is a standard part of TASER certification in most if not all departments, AFAIK.

Did you know, though, that as a private citizen, you must possess an Indiana LTCH to carry a TASER?

(1) designed to emit an electronic, magnetic, or other type of charge or shock through the use of a projectile; and
(2) used for the purpose of temporarily incapacitating a person.

(b) Unless the person's right to possess a firearm has been restored under IC 35-47-4-7, a person who has been convicted of domestic battery under IC 35-42-2-1.3 may not possess or carry a handgun in any vehicle or on or about the person's body in the person's dwelling or on the person's property or fixed place of business.

No, I did not. Thanks again! Tasers don't get talked about much here, but it's good info to have.
