I have been thinking about doing a 10/22 build for a while now. I final picked up new Raptor stock and a Tactical Solutions’ X-Ring barrel a few weeks ago at the Gun Shop in Louisville. I planned on using my 1983 era 10/22 receiver and trigger assembly as a starting point. However, the more I have thought about it I really want to build something special (looks and shoot very well).
With this in mind, does anyone have any experience with X-Ring Receiver? If so what are your impressions?
Does anyone know of a Gun Shop that stocks them in southern Indiana (an hour or so from New Albany)?
