I was in the Air Force back in the 80's when swine flu first became a big deal and we were all taken en-mass as a squadron to get swine flu vaccines....it wasn't till much later we found out about the severe side effects that were possible from the shots.

    Nothing changes!

Back in 1976, more folks died from the swine flu vaccine than the flu itself and the vaccination program was halted. Ever hear of Guillain-Barre syndrome? That's from the 1976 program.

The swine flu scare of '76 turned out to be unwarranted. I hope it's as unwarranted this time, and/or they do a better job developing the vaccine. I would like to think we've learned a something in the area of immunology over the last 33 years.
