Sunday purchases

I was looking through my receipts from the 2 gun purchases that were delayed. I don't know if it was coincidence or not but they both occured on a Sunday. If you have been delayed was it on the weekend or a weekday, just curious ?

Day of the week SHOULD have no bearing on the instant check.

Most people run into problems when they do not supply a SSN (not required, but very helpful), or when there is another person with the same/similar name.

It should not, but it can. When I had a security clearance with .gov my purchases were delayed on Sunday's. Something about the regular reps could not not look at certain files but managers/supervisors could. Sometimes a manager/supervisor is on limited duties on the weekends. That was what I was told, so take it with a grain of salt.

just about every gun i have bought has been on sundays and never had a problem. my wife works on sunday so it is easier for me.
