My son and I were watching science videos on youtube and we saw this trick. And it actually works.
Ever wandering around the parking lot unable to find your car? And so far away that the remote wont reach to hit the panic button so you can follow the honks? Or how about you get ALMOST to the door of the store and realize you forgot to lock the doors. Dont walk back in range; hold the fob against your noggin when you push the button.
Apparently the water in your head/brain acts like an amp/radiator and makes the remote work MUCH farther than normal. My son told Mrs. Monkey this and she didnt believe him while visiting the doctor. On a whim from a 2nd floor window at the doctor's office where they were at the time she hit the lock button while watching the van. Van didnt twitch. She held it up to her head and hit the button again; low and behold the parking lights flashed.
I now catch her doing it just for fun and she giggles every time.
