I got rid of the checkering on the finger grooves. I started with a dremel, it was ok but found that a regular ol' wood chisel worked way better. I replaced the checkering with some stippling for a little extra grip where it counts. **side note** I picked up a 40w soldering iron that heats to 950-1050F. I found that this leaves a much smoother stipple. I used a 25w on my G22 and it turned out great too the stippling is just a little more agressive/rough feeling. I perfer the smooth over the rough on my G27 becasue it might come into contact with my side (bare skin) from time to time and I dont want to be rubbed raw. Here is some of my work: https://www.indianagunowners.com/forums/handguns/10230-glock_stippling_project.html
