I have an offer from a guy at work to buy his ak-47 for 200$. I just got done modifying my sks and buying 200 rnd saw pouches to hold my mag on my lbv. Should i go ahead and get the ak or stick with my sks? my wife would flip if i had two rifles, so I'll have to sell my sks.....and buy new pouches for my chest rig, and more mags....

I say go for it, an AK and an SKS make a logical pair. Tell your wife that it's worth the $200. Any info on what make/model the AK is? What country it's from?

Go for it. Great price. Will never fail you. Once you have one you will want more. I like my SKS but I love my AK.

$200 is a bargain for almost any AK these days. Your wife would flip with two rifles? She would die instantly then if she saw my safe!

I put a tapco intrafuse stock on it, made it 9r compliant, duracoted it nicely, including the bolt carrier and bayonett. bought four 20 rnd mags and put a rail mount on the reciever cover.
I'm hoping i can at least get 300 for her.
If you are really wanting to get rid of it let me know. we might be able to work something out.

If your wife is like mine just don't have both guns in the same place at the same time..she couldn't tell one from the other....:)
