My long time broker-dealer that my CFP works with has been acquired by Sterne Agree Financial Services, Inc.

Anyone have any experience with Sterne? Any reason one would object to the change in broker-dealer status?

    Kirk,

No specific experience with Sterne but can't imagine much would change as long as you are working with the same CFP. You may see different mutual fund custody capabilities or different fixed income offerings your CFP may have access to but I can't see a reason for a drastic change. You could also see an increase in product availability to fit investment needs with the new firm.

    Hope this helps.
