They may feel that way inside, but the still can't legally buy or own real ARs, AKs, standard capacity magazines, etc.

I got a chuckle out of this comment seeing how I just came home from the range and my gun is on the table. Wife doesn't get upset as long as I lay out the gun mat.

Most people who think they intimidate other people, especially those who feel the need to say it aloud, typically do not really intimidate anyone.

It's very much like people who feel the need to tell other people how smart they are. Usually they fall far short of their perceived level of grandeur.
