    WENT TO SEE ONE OF MY UNCLES TODAY.LONG STORY SHORT. WE GOT TO TALKING ABOUT THIS BROWNING SHOTGUN HE HAS HAD HANGING IN HIS GARAGE FOR AT LEAST 10-12 YEARS.SO I SAID HEY MAN YOU SHOULD JUST LET ME HAVE THAT THING SO HE LOOKED AT ME AND SAID YOU WANT IT,TAKE IT.YOU CAN HAVE IT.I HAVEN'T SHOT IT IN 10 YEARS AND MY SHOULDERS ARE BAD ANYWAYS.SO I SAID OK,THANKS ALOT...SO HERE IT IS.ALSO CAME WITH SLUG BARREL.HAS A SCOPE MOUNT ON IT NOW THAT I AM GOING TO TAKE OFF.

    If your good with a dremel with a small cutting wheel it wouldn't be hard to take off. The hard part would be not cutting into the gun itself and grinding down the ridges. Myself I would just leave the mount on there or take it to a professional to remove it. IMHO but if you do tackle the task, good luck.

    It's going to take at least 1100 degrees to take that scope mount off of it. I would just leave it on, get it re-blued and make a deer gun out of it. I could take it off but I would have to charge you.
