Been sick for a while and decided I had to do something so why not inhale DuraCoat fumes. So I did a few AR parts, my 10/22 stock, grips for my S&W 19-5, and the handles of my Ka-bar TDI. I used ABU dark Grey Green delivered via standard airbrush.

I wanted to try a full ABU pattern camo job but that will have to wait for a later time I guess. Very happy with the turn out, the grayish green really accents the black. :)

looks good....how hard is it to apply the DuraCoat?

Pretty easy if you have done it before. It takes a while to figure out how to do it right the first time, after that its pretty easy. Just read the directions and youll be fine. But even following the directions to the T it takes a while to get good results. I did the magpul grip last, and its the only thing that turned out "perfect." Just takes a steady hand and more patience then you ever thought you'd need.

Some new pictures that show it a little better. Very happy with how its holding up, I was expecting it to be flaking off by now (considering thats normally what happens with me and paint :)).
