So I'm in a LGS and see this chick with an ingo hat. She tells the clerk she wants a revolver. I'm not sure what the purpose of her purchase was, but obviously these are outdated. Now I've been carrying a Glock 22 for years and have studied the superiority of the 40 cal. I of course don't want anyone misinformed about the outdated revolver so I told her about the .40 s&w and why it's so good. She kept pretending like she was listening and walking away. I wanted to be positive this LGS customer didn't buy something not good for self defense so I made it my mission to follow and keep commenting on the .40 and how good it is. Everyone seemed annoyed me with even though I was right... :dunno:

    Golly!
You should become part of the Obama administration; they're doing with health insurance what you're trying to do with guns.
Why didn't you tell her to just buy a shotgun?

I am not sure if this serous or just a hoax.
Either way it is mildly amusing but I feel I have wasted a couple minutes of my life reading it.

Seriously?!? Does no one have a grasp on spoof thread etiquette??

Spoof threads are getting old and played out, but posting a link to the original thread has always been verboten.

You have rules for this crap? Ha ha rules, really?

They're really more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules. :)

Guidelines should be if you make a spoof thread, you're banned for 48 hours unless you make it entertaining. Maybe a video, some pics, a drawing...sometime to convey the message.
