Soldier charged for hiccups cure

An army soldier was going to cure his friends hiccups by pointing a gun at his head and pulling the trigger. He thought the gun was loaded with "dummy rounds". Apparently the only "dummy" was him.

The thought of killing one of my friends accidentally, (by any means), sickens me.
But the thought of the suddenness and finality of it happening this way sends a cold chill down my spine. Living with that the rest of my life would be worse than any punishment by imprisonment.There would be no way to eradicate the image that this event creates. It would be there forever.
