I bought this on here a little over a year ago and I’ve admitted I’m never going to follow through on my plan to restore it.
Bore is rough, there’s a crack in the stock, and the gun is a bit of an enigma overall, being a mix of parts. Looks like a Sitting Fox trade gun barrel with the two “wedding bands” lock roughly appropriate to a trade gun, but with a stock and trigger guard more like a Hawkin.
When I bought it I reasoned the lock alone was worth about what I paid, and I stand by that reasoning, so I’m asking the same amount- $200. It is legal to ship this, but will be expensive. I’m willing to work with someone on that if needed. Otherwise FTF in Lafayette area is preferred.
