On my recently set up Lee Classic 4 Hole Turret press, 9mm and 45acp on my Hornady LnL AP 223. On my two RCBS RCS's 300wsm, 35 Remington and 308 Win.
All I can say is thank you God that I stock piled reloading components.

I have some Starline in 45-70 and 90, its hard. I anneal it before I load it for the first time and every time I load it. Now saying that all of mine is at least 10 years old and they very well could have changed and softened it up years ago. It was discussed on a few BP forums so Starline was aware. If you would like to shoot some heavy cast postells send me a PM with a shipping address and I will be glad to send you a bunch ready to load. What I would send you drop at .460 and are lubed in a 460 sizer.
Do you know what pressure that rifle will be happy with?

Edit, I just went and looked at what you bought. Interesting rifle for sure. I dont believe you could fit the long Postells in the mag, It would be interesting to see a chamber cast and see if a bore rider bullet would chamber..

I appreciate the offer, but I'm actually going with lighter projectiles. I've got a bunch of 405 grain LRN that I used for my cowboy loads. I didn't notice any problems with the Starline brass when I loaded those.

Here's some more info on the rifle. NRVO ULTIMATE LEE ENFIELD

Trying to reload for my Trapdoor and it looks like I am in need of some more Postells, as am down to about 500. Is there any person or place in the Indy area that cast for people?

Good, I rolled hard on the 77 grainer .224 blems. They showed up yesterday in two medium flat rate boxes..... :rockwoot:

One of the yayas I shoot with bought big on the 338 250 grainers too. There was some very good pricing from Larry, almost refreshing....
With the free shipping right now I ordered a few hundred 7 and 8mm's last night...

Its been awhile but RMR had Hornady 75gr BTHP match. 224 cheap i bought 3,000 of them. I haven't even started on them yet

I haven't had much time for reloading lately, but I'm setting up a day with a buddy where we crank out .45 and 38/357 until we can't pull the lever arm anymore. I run the now "obsolete" Dillon XL650 and he uses a Lee Pro 1000. I don't have a case feeder so I relegate him to case/primer tube loading while I'm cranking the lever.

Going to work on some Hoosier Bullets 124gr Poly coated RN. Going to use HP 38 and small rifle primers. Will work on accuracy instead of speed.

Call this a Work in progress.

Just loaded up 30 rounds of 45-70 for my Enfield sporter. I had been loading 405 gr. LRN cast lead cowboy loads for a Sharps clone I had, but wanted to go a little hotter for the Enfield, so I switched to 300 gr. HPFN Sierra bullets and discovered that I needed to flare the mouth of the brass for the plated bullets after crushing the first one. Now I'm waiting on a crimp die before I'm ready to try them out.

I loaded 15 rounds each with 62 gr. IMR 4064 and IMR 3031., which is just mid-range for each of these per Hodgdon's load data.

Arisaka 7.7 mm with 150 gr Hornady 303 cal over H4895. I tried putting a scope on the Arisaka, but I can't find a mounting system that gives good eye relief.

Today firing a melter and making up some dummy .27 Long Neck's* with a couple of molds to see how they cycle through a '94.

    * An ongoing project, 30-30 full length sized in 6.8SPC dies and trimmed to suit .277 mold designs' bearing length and lube grooves. Somewhere between 32-20 and 25-35 and maybe easier to make accurate than either one.

Reloaded 40 for the first time since 2013. Lost the recipe we used when I took the class but Aszerigan still had it. Never did chrono the loads I made originally as I wanted to test out my CHP 4006 but accuracy was good for me at 10yds.

Made 5 rds a while ago and with the 5rd test had a high of 914 a low of 890, an ave of 900, a spread of 24, and a standard deviation of 9. Shot 10ft away from my S&W 4046TSW. Will make 50 to take to the range in a few weeks and see how they roll at 25yds. Otherwise first rounds made since 2018 when we found out we were pregnant.
