Sig P250 Sub-Compact Mag Question

So I just bought a Sig Sauer P250 Sub-Compact in 9mm today. I am looking into getting some extra mags and I wanted to double check and make sure I was getting the right thing.

From what I've gathered I should be able to buy any mag from the Compact or Full Size so long as it is the 'new grip' style and as long as I also buy the adapter to fill the empty space. Can anyone else with a P250 confirm this?

Yes, but you don't "need" the adapter, it just won't look or feel right without it.

Hmmm, the adapters for my Ruger seem much more than 'optional' so I assumed that with this they would be the same. Good to know.

I have a Sig Sauer P250 Compact new grip style and they have a 15rd clip for the compact . Just make sure you know if you have the old or the new grip style.

Was there a grip change on the sub-compact or only the compact?

If you like the longer grip of a compact, you can buy a compact frame and cut a little off the end and use the SC slide on it. I bought my extra frame for $30 bucks. I really like having the extra grip and capacity. Plus the compact frame has a rail if you wanted to mount a light or laser. I also had a hard time finding holsters for the sub compact.
