WTB: SIG P228 FRAME. Anyone know how or where I could acquire one??

I've got a spare slide and barrel floating around and it seems a shame not to turn it into a pistol.

Might be available. Looked into this myself. Lost interest. KT Ordnance Sig P226/228/229 80% frame. That's all I have.

Looks like they may have stopped producing that frame...couldn't find it listed. But thanks for passing on the lead.

About a year ago I had a WTB ad here looking for the sky Marshal P228 training guns. I had seen these for sale several years ago. Typically they were big Smith and Wesson 9mm and a few Sig 228s. These had the barrels heavily welded at the hood area but the frames were unaltered. I had no luck finding one, nor have I seen any lately. Some people think these are considered non-guns. I don't know. Would be careful of guns with Xed out serial numbers. Believe there was one on the big E auction for a short while. Good luck with your search.
