Sig 522 Mag Problem

So, I just picked up a new 522 last weekend. Looks to be a great addition to the family.

Problem is that the magazine doesn't fit into the mag well unless I really put some pressure on it. It takes one hell of an effort to get in all the way in and secure. After some working it in and out (Insert jokes here) it is still tight and doesnt want to go in any easier.

One other issue that may or may not be a problem, to get the folding stock secured in the folded position you have to "snap" the female spot on the stock onto a male tab on the side of the receiver. Anyways to get it folded and unfolded it takes a heavy blow to get it secured or unsecured.

Anyone seeing these issues or .....

I am having the same issue with the folding buttstock but my mag fits just like it should !

May I ask where you found your 522? I'v been looking for one to see before I buy one.

as you can tell i am sig nut so i could not wait to handle one so i got on a waiting list about 6 mos from an online sig dealer !! they are poping up here and there!

21st Century has a couple in stock. I have one as well. The stock snapping closed is def a chore to do. My mags and drum fit fine, so I can't help you there.
