does USAToday not update their website?FYI: the "Day poll" is 2 weeks old.
"Allowed", huh?
I found the original post date near the bottom, 10/13/2009. I wonder if they didn't get the results they wanted and tried againFYI: the "Day poll" is 2 weeks old.
I have a poll question
Should we be allowed to exercise free speech?
they feel very STRONGLY about that. dont knock it.Even though the percentage is very small, I worry about people who vote "I don't know" in a voluntary poll!
To whom it may concern:
I saw the recent poll on the USA Today website. I wanted to make a simple statement about the question in the poll. You see, it isn't in fact a question at all. The 2nd Ammendment to The Constitution of the United States clearly specifies that "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Gun owners are already "allowed" to have their guns in their homes, cars, and on their person. I think the question the poll is trying to ask is: "Does the 2nd ammendment still apply?" The answer is quite simply, YES!
Maybe we should have a poll set up the other way - Do current efforts of Federal and State Goverments to control firearm ownership, and limit the locations that law abiding citizens carry their guns infringe on the 2nd Ammendment?
That is a great poll question. I feel that we should, but if you are not in the right places, you might not be able to.I have a poll question
