I've always liked the feel of Mechanix gloves, the original thin ones. Just enough to keep you from frying your hand if you slip.

They have the tactical Mechanic gloves at Autozone for about 20 bucks. They have the darker writing on the knuckle side. They also have them in fde on Amazon. I like them, but I haven't shot with them yet. I wish they had a little more grippiness on the fingers and palms, but they might be fine for shooting.

I am a golfer and a trap shooter, so I recommend Footjoy Raingrip or Footjoy Wintersof gloves. They are relatively cheap, comfortable and can be found at any sporting goods store so you can try before you buy.

They have a palm coating that allows you to maintain a good feel and dexterity.

Give em a shot, in a pinch you can golf with them as well. :-)

I also use a golf glove. The checkering on the fore-end of my trap gun is really sharp, so if I forget my golf glove on Sunday, I wear a bandaid the rest of the week.
