    This is one of the great things about getting to know people on this board. These kind of values and family heritage are pleasantly common.

    I shoot family heirlooms nearly every time I shoot at all. Several of my firearms were given to me by my father. My kids were still very young when we lost my father. Shooting his guns brings up great opportunities to talk about "Grandpa" and keep his memory alive.
