I recently got a 45 ACP American Tactical TItan. I loaded up some 220 gran lead bullets I had cast, intended for 45 LC. They loaded well, and when shot at the range, grouped really well.
Always thought or heard 45 ACP needed to be sized .451

They are a SWCFP, shoot well, feed well,

Have only shoot about a dozen so far.

Anyone else with similar experience or shooting .452 in 45 ACP?

.452 is the correct size for cast lead bullets for a .45 acp, but jacketed should be .451. Jacketed bullets "ride" the lands, where the base of a lead bullet expands to fill the grooves.

    This.

Lead .45 ACP is always .452, jacketed can be .451 or .4515, depending upon manufacturer.

    As others have indicated.....

The rule of thumb for cast bullets is .001 over the bore diameter.
