If I remember correctly, Tyler charged a buck an inch on blades as long as he was just sharpening them. Regrinds were definitely more though. Seems like he did my Grayman Satu for under $20.
I've been kicking around the idea of offering sharpening. I've got a Wicked Edge with the latest upgrades so I can match existing angles or regrind to a preferred angle. I have stones of 50/80, 100/200, 400/600, 800/1000 & 1200/1600. I don't have the ability to do serrated blades and can only touch up concave blades. Been trying to figure out what would be a fair price for the service.
That seems reasonable to me

I pm'd him a couple weeks ago and havnt heard back. If he wouldn't mind that would be great.
How is the upgrade on the angles work? Worth the money or no?
I am having the same problem. I PMed him about a week ago and haven't heard anything back, but would love to get my SR-1 sharper than it currently is.
If you end up sending your blade to phylodog please follow up with an update once you get it back.
