Upcoming Courses

I just signed up for the Sept. 20, Essentials of Indiana Gun Law class.
Will be traveling from NWI.

Looking to see if any other INGOers are going to be there.
Willing to car pool from NWI.

Yes.
And I've taken the full day class a few years ago.
In fact, I'd rather have the full day class.
But, I saw this one, and it lines up to when I finish midnights. So I don't have to take off work.

Well, it would be nice to have bosses with a brain.
I wonder what that's like.

Told my boss I'm going to Indy for "a class" that day, don't schedule overtime. No one is on vacation, and no planned maintenance period, I should be ok.
Nope.
He had scheduled me a 16 hour shift. Instead of finishing mids that morning, I was supposed to work 8 hour mid shift, wait 2 hours, then attend a crane class for 8 hours. ON MY LONG "weekend". Everyone looks foward to finishing mids and having a few days off.
Heck. A stupid class after a mid shift is stupid enough.

And, we ask for classes ALL THE TIME, but for our craft.
Such as our EMLI controller, PLC maintenance, recent modern instruments, stuff like that.
NOPE.
Can't get classes to help us with what we do.
But, to give us more stuff, sure, what the heck.
Idiot. Ugh.

1 shoulda mentioned it earlier.
2 shoulda scheduled it while I'm on days, and the 1 dayshift guy coulda covered my shift.
3 a few other words I can't repeat here.

If I threw bosses without brains into steel, I would hardly have any left.
