Scope for a lever gun

My wife bought herself a Henry 22 lever gun and she loves shooting it but she wants a scope on it. Any suggestions on what would look right on a lever gun?

Put this Leupold on my 10/22. Best rimfire scope I own. Optics are very clear. Nice and compact, would probably look very good on a Henry.

The Vortex 2-7x lines (like the CrossFire II or DiamondBack) are pretty solid for the money. I would also consider something basic like a Weaver 1-3x for the Henry.

Considering the speed of a lever, I like a 1-2x at the bottom end but either will allow you a some additional magnification for those shots that require something extra.

a malcolm style scope has the "old west" vibe.

running a old (steel body) fixed 4x weaver on mine.

Nothing, but I use a Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 anyway.
