School Shooting. Bloomington/Normal Illinois. No one injured.

This one's a little closer to home. Bloomington is about an hour away from my hometown. And I believe we made a field trip to this school to watch a play, back in high school.

But I learned of this from my old youth minister on Facebook, who has kids that go to this school.

I'm wondering how it happened too. This is the school that we took a field trip to, and at that time, they had metal detectors set up at the entrance. But that was shortly after Columbine, so they might have removed them in recent years.

So maybe Chicago, I mean Springfield needs to make up some more laws to crack down on this.

I don't get a shooting with no injuries. Not that I want any innocent people hurt, but i don't get it.

From the very little info they've released, sounds like he only fired into the ceiling. My unprofessional opinion, sounds like he might have been one of those kids who constantly got ignored and just snapped. And if thats the case, he at least showed enough restraint to not harm anyone else.
