Does anyone know anything about the Sardius Industries SD9, as far as the value or reliability? I have one and I have yet to shoot it and am looking to get rid of it for some extra cash.

Never heard of it, so I went and found an article in American Handgunner:

    American Handgunner Sep/Oct 2010

    Per the article:
Imported 1989 to 1990 by Armscorp USA
Frame and slide constructed of formed sheet steel
    Blowback operation
"substantial" recoil and "strange" takedown procedure

MSRP of $350 back in the day; did not sell well.

OK thanks that helps somewhat, more knowledge than I had before. I'm gonna shoot it once I go home for xmas break to at least see how it shoots, then maybe put it up on here once I get to 50 posts

    I've got a Sardius SD-9.

The Sardius SD-9 was designed by Nehemiah Sirkis of Detonics, the designer of the Detonics Pocket 9. I was told by the late Jerry Ahern that Sirkis had a falling out with Detonics and tried to take his design with him, but Detonics went ahead and produced the Pocket 9. Sirkis responded by putting the Sirkis SD9 into production, but they were recalled due to a design defect and replaced with the Sardius SD-9 which, in its day, was one of the smallest 9 mm semiautos you could buy that worked reliably. It is a blowback design, with a matte black surface coat and black plastic grips. The sights are fixed and pretty basic, but mine are pretty much on target at 15 yards.
