I bought one and ended up selling the Nordic components. It was heavy and I had to mount the scope to high to be comfortable. I kept the barreled action and put it in a different stock

It's it really a 10/22 barreled action like Ruger purports? Were their any mods required to the action or the replacement stock ?

Yes. The SR-22 is just a standard 10/22 barreled action in a Nordic Components chassis.

Yes

I had to modify the stock that I put the action in. The barrel from the SR-22 doesn't have the taper and is a bit wider.
