Handled the .45 ACP model in a gun shop a while back. Pretty heavy for what it is, but that's probably an advantage in the hotter 10mm chambering. Would rather have seen a traditional style 10mm PC Carbine, but they already had this in .45, so easier to rework it for 10mm.

Pretty salty at $1049 suggested retail, but will likely be under $1k after the initial "gotta have it" crowd gets theirs. Will be interesting to see if they fly off the shelves, or if "make it in 10mm" is just so much empty internet chatter.

Looks like $999.99 is where this one is starting...

$650-700 at most I'd be willing to pay for one. Why did they price it that high?

I'll wait on S&W and see what theirs costs.
Yes, at that price they are getting into Stribog territory for a simple blowback carbine instead of roller delayed and unproven mags. Of course, like others have said, the price will probably be down close to that range after the new wears off.

Agree on the too expensive part. I also believe they made a pretty big mistake not making a 10" or thereabouts pistol version with a brace on it. That feels like a completely underserved market if you don't want to spend $1400+ on a cmmg.

The .45 ACP model started at about $999 and can now be had for $749. That's probably what the 10mm model will settle down to eventually.
