When Ruger introduced the GP-100 series they made the gun available in a bewildering array of variations. There were a large number of fixed sight models as well as adjustable. Full lug barrels, half lug, 38sp.,357 mag, blue, stainless, there were variations galore. Today Ruger catalogs the gun in 357 only in 5 models 4 and 6 inch in blue and stainless w/adjustable sights and a 3" fixed sight model in SS. There are a couple of limited run models that are distributer exclusives as well. Last weekend at a gunshow I was happy to spot a 4" half lug , fixed sight, stainless gun in 357mag. Even had a nice old Bucheimer holster that is a decade or two older than the gun . Scarfed it up, I love that retro look. The grips aren't original but I'm not complaining
