For sale is a good condition Romarm Cugir AKT-98. These are somewhat rare as there were only about 1,250 of these imported in 2008-09, and that includes both the standard AKM model and the longer RPK one. These are built in the Cugir AK factory and externally are just like AKs. Standard AK furniture fits, it has a side scope rail, and feels like a real gun.

I bought this in 2015 at an auction. . It came with one factory mag which sucks. I added eight Black Dog 25 round mags which lock in smoothly and snuggly and function very well. It is a fun trainer and range toy. I have taken it to the range only 3-4 times since buying it including today. Today I shot 50 rounds of Mini Mags and CCI copper plated round nose 1,200 fps. It does prefer higher velocity ammo. Loaded up four different mags with 10 rounds each and started shooting. First mag I rested my elbows on the bench and shot the top 5 round group you see on target below. Shot the remaining 5 rounds rapid-ish fire into the berm. Repeated that with the second mag after raising the rear sight. This second 5 shot group is just below the first. Again emptied the remaining rounds downrange. The third mag I slow-fired standing at debris on the range and the 6th-8th rounds all nosed into the ramp/barrel. Fourth & fifth mags ran fine. I don't know if it was the mag or the rifle but let's call it 90%-95%. Note: on further examination the non-Mini Mag ammo appears to have a slightly longer bullet and I believe this is what was hanging up.. If I have time I will shoot it again paying more attention to the ammo. All the Black Dog mags are basically new and would probably benefit from a dry-lube treatment.

The rifle originally had really ugly black poly furniture. I replaced it with a set of PSA wood in red. The package for sale includes the original furniture and factory mag, wood furniture, and eight 25 round Black Dog mags.

Price is $500.00. Cash or Gold/Silver at spot. FTF around Evansville during the week. Within an hour or so on the weekends - Ferdinand, Bloomfield/Scotland, Bloomington, Vincennes, etc. No trades.

I will be in Downtown Indy Sept. 26th and could meet on my way out of town after 2:00 p.m.
