I feel like I joined a brotherhood when I joined INGO...

I always try to make deals that are good for both parties. I have lost on a couple deals but got what I wanted so it works out. I had some large pistol primers for sale and had two members that wanted them I sold them to the first one even though the 2nd one offered $10 more.

    This place is great!!!!!!

I understand making a profit but do it somewhere else. There was a rifle I wanted it was purchased by 3 different people and each time resold for more then the first time in a weeks time.

Oh on a side note if anybody has 7.62x39 they don't need I could really use some for the upcoming shoot April 18th.

I voted wrong. I have been buying boxes of 9mm NATO for $12.99 (50 rds) because some jokers have been raiding every Wal-mart in town and buying all the cheap stuff. If people are flipping ammo on this site that just sucks. :noway:

It took me almost 2 weeks to find a buyer for my Marlin. Ended up not getting anything I wanted for it, but I did get two seperate guns after I added a butt load of ammo to the deal. I figure I can sell the other two guns easier than the Marlin so I can fund my .22 AR! :D BTW, I think I took a lose on it, but if it gets me closer to my goal, all the better. Plus I make people happy in the process, well hell yea!

Wrong you should only get what you paid unless your on GB and bidding pushes it up, here though don't try and rip people off. I should confess, I did it when PS3's first came out though, but I just started the bidding at my break even price. They pushed it up.

Personally I think the Mods should Suspend the Buy/sell rights of people caught flipping Ammo. I'm a newbie to the site and the flipping/for 'massive' profit sales only degrade the integrity of the classifieds.

I'm a lil nervous about going into any deal because I'm a little afraid that I'm gonna get taken. I've only gone into one trade on here and I'm really glad that it went well. But if you've got sketchy folks on here going for quick cash how long until we have people pawning damaged goods...or worse?

I don't know but if it were me, i would want to nip this in the bud before the trust starts failing

Whoops. Sorry. I think I just witnessed something cool in the form of the big cheese in charge. I knew I was up late for something...

Wrong on so many ways. I just traded 50 rounds of 45ACP JHP for 25 rounds of 40 S&W JHP's. I actually lost in that one, but well, I had no use for them, wrather them go to a better home instead of just sitting somewhere. I have yet to meet one single person on here I woulnd't trust with my life. ( probably because they have waaay more firearms than I do in the bottom of the lake than I do!)

I'd rather tip others off to a good ammo price or offer to pick up extra than shaft someone on here or MDShooters. I may lose a couple of bucks in gas on the transaction, but I'd rather have the karma. Treat others as you wish to be treated and it'll come back to ya.

Besides, why irritate people when you know they own firearms? :D

YEAH!!!!! BOO CAPITALISM! DOWN WITH THE FREE MARKET! PEOPLE SHOULD ONLY SELL THINGS FOR WHAT THEY HAVE IN THEM - NO MORE! FROM EACH ACCORDING TO HIS ABILITY, TO EACH ACCORDING TO HIS NEEDS!

    ;)

To be clear, I'm always willing to cut a friend a break. I've recently sold guns for exactly what I had in them, despite being able to get more for it in the current market. I've got a group buy going on INGO right now where I'm almost guaranteed to lose money because I'm just barely covering my cost even in a best-case scenario, but it is helping out some friends offline and folks here, so I'm doing it.

All the same, the apparent aversion to a free market here is a little bit disturbing to me. You guys do realize that the only reason the commercial gun and ammunition market exists at all is to manufacture, distribute, and sell at a profit, right? And you realize people couldn't hike prices if the demand wasn't there, right? This is pretty basic economic theory.

I think selling something worth 19.95 for 34.00 is wrong, free market or not. I don't think anyone here is against the free market system, just obvious greed.

If it sold for $34.00, it was worth $34.00 to the buyer, wasn't it? Value is not a universal, concrete, static definition.

Vote with your wallet. If something isn't worth a given price to you, don't pay it. If it is worth that price to someone else, they'll buy it. If it isn't, the seller will have to drop the price, or keep the product. Right? Where's the unfairness?

The original seller gets the price they are happy to sell at.
The original buyer bought at a price they are happy to buy at.
They offered the product at a price they are happy to sell at.
You didn't buy because the price was more than you'd be happy to buy at.
Either someone else buys it at a price they're happy to buy at, or no one buys it until the price comes down the market level.
Everyone's happy. Except the socialists, but I don't care about socialists.
While we all support the 2nd lets not forget the 1st...
What does the 1st amendment have to do with capping profits?

Part of the free market is the ability of the customers to call out profiteering when we see it, and to call the butt munches engaging in it the scummy worms they are.

They can keep ripping people off... but every now and then someone is going to call them on it. The rules of this site protect them while they poach on people who don't know any better since we can't post a warning "$30 for 9mm is an absolute ripoff, run away", but memories are long, and this shortage won't last forever.

Nothing in free market principals say we can't sound the warning about ripoffs. Or decry the honorless bums engaging in such ripoffs.

It may be obvious greed but it doesn't mean we have to buy it just because it's listed on here. If someone hasn't done their home work on pricing and buys it why is that a bad thing? I've been burnt before on other things when I didn't take the time to research what I was buying. My lose their gain and I learned from it.

Basically what I'm saying is don't be offended by the price because you have the choice to not buy it. It's called a free market.

I just went to Dicks Sporting Goods the other day and the guy behind the gun counter said "Buy the ammo I got now because it ain't gettn any cheaper so if your gonna buy it buy it now." Exact words!

I left because the prices were crazy on what they had in stock which of course was everything that was not on sale!

I voted wrong because common sense not regulation should prevail.
