:noway: Wow! This smells really fishy. This isn't a Remington site that is collecting all of your personal info. The Remington site doesn't mention 10 million guns and has their own giveaway going on. This smells like phishing folks. I don't recommend entering (and no, I'm not trying to increase my odds by keeping people out). What is broco.com anyway?

    Thanks!

They also have a camo version up for a giveaway too.

Damn you :D Where was THAT one? I missed it!

Can you enter for BOTH? I entered for the standard, and decided to pass it on to other Ingo'ers and didn't even look any further on the site.

Guess you know where I'll be for the next few minutes!

    CAUTION!

I just received a PM from Ingo member Pudly?

He says he thinks this is a scam!

Take it for what it is worth. I do NOT know Pudly or his reputation here.

Please understand that if this link IS a "phishing scam" as he asserts, I'm the FIRST to be hit. I would NOT intentionally do that. :xmad:

getting $14,000,000.00 out of a trust account
and he needs my help with a "banking fee" then
your butt is grass and I'm a mower!!!!:xmad:

I don't know what you are looking at?
The only info. they REQUIRE to enter is your name, email address, and zip-code! OMG it's a conspiracy!

I have no idea what broco.com is. :dunno:

Looks to be an advertising agency out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

    Maybe Remington uses them :dunno:

That is probably the case. Very, very sorry for the alarm. :ugh: They do have some links with Remington based on their Brett Favre add on their home page.

Their site had the following classic phishing flags:
    -Copied graphics/etc from Remington.
-Key links point to their own site, but less important ones point to Remington.
-Link sends you to a site other than Remington.

    I've found info stating that,

Nothing bad found so far.. It's not like they are asking for any info that means jack..

    Some discussion @ calguns
    Ten Million 870s - Page 2 - Calguns.net

Update: DEEP in the site, there is a teeny tiny link in the "NEWS" section (Press Releases/Press/Corporate news) that then REDIRECTS you to the page "Remington.bronco ...", so it looks like it is legit, but GEEZ! You would think that such big news would be in a banner on their home page!

Hey, it's better to question everything than it is to doubt nothing.

There are people that will take advantage of you if you let them.

All said - I entered the contests, too. Good luck to all. Would be great to see a INGOer win one.
