I own not just the DVD. But also have it on VHS, And i burnt it to my hard drive to watch as I travel the world meeting new and interesting people.

In fact it is.

Those of us who came of age in the 80's are hooked.

We're also hopefulful they don't butcher the re-make too badly.

They are filming it in the Detroit area so lots of bombed out looking hoods to film in and some woods not too far away.

Now go watch the movie!

Umm.......I lost it in a boating accident........ and I was making another DVD of ..........and thought maybe this happened to others ....umm......

Yup it is, and hearing that I was shocked!!

I use to have it on VHS but it got ruined, so I did replace it on DVD when I finally found it again. Still one of my favorite movies of all time!!

Yeah I was shocked when so many at the breakfast this morning weren't familiar with the gun owner/survivalists official training movie RED DAWN...Patrick Swayzee and Jennifer Grey before they dance together...too bad the version on G4 is so edited..

Watching it on G4 I can tell it has been edited to hell.

A remake of this frightens me. The original RD only received a one-star review, but it was a GREAT movie. I hope they don't **** it up. Remakes usually do.
