    Had a couple of incidents in past 4 months for the first time in 16 years, need to get a camera system up.

    Would like to have;
    • high enough resolution to get facial & license plate info
    • night vision at least 100'
    • record on motion
    • easy to set up & maintain for someone that is not an IT guy
    • wireless capability for remote cameras (solar?)
    • remote access without a pay subscription
    I need to get moving on this over next few days.

    Thanks in advance.

    around properties with Wi-Fi, I use Blink cameras. With no Wi-Fi, cellular trail cameras.

    But both have subscription and certain pro/cons. I’m interested to see what others recommend based on your parameters

    Sam’s club sells a wide variety of camera systems. If you’re near one and a member you might check them out.
    I got a night owl system and it’s been great. 5 years now
