you would be much better off just getting the flashlight attachment. this away if someone breaks in at night time u can blind them with the light just before u shoot them. plus u can see what your shooting then.
for a home defense pistol you would be better off mounting a light on your Glock. A laser is not going to help unless you can see what the red or green dot is on. Handgun lights are usually a tightly focused beam, if there is an intruder in your light, chances are good that you are going to hit them. Just my
