I'm thinking about going with a lesser costly Laser option, one that mounts on the rail of my Gen 3 Glock 23.This is my home defense Pistol, I keep it close at night, 15 rounds of .40 cal

Any recommendations for this type of rail laser?

you would be much better off just getting the flashlight attachment. this away if someone breaks in at night time u can blind them with the light just before u shoot them. plus u can see what your shooting then.

for a home defense pistol you would be better off mounting a light on your Glock. A laser is not going to help unless you can see what the red or green dot is on. Handgun lights are usually a tightly focused beam, if there is an intruder in your light, chances are good that you are going to hit them. Just my :twocents:

    I have a Fenix PD 30 / 257 lumens, so I have the blinding taken care of:D

My plan is to have one hand on the Fenix up high, then the other holding the G-23

Although I might no be leaning towards a light / laser combo:yesway:
