"Ride an off-road vehicle with a loaded
firearm (unless permitted with a valid
    concealed-carry permit). If the individual
does not have a valid concealed-carry
permit, the firearm must also be encased
or made inoperative with a trigger lock."

Just thought it was funny since they called our LTCH a CCW and thought I would share.

Did you pull the quote from this one?

    http://www.in.gov/dnr/fishwild/files/fw-2010_Hunting_Regulations.pdf

If you want, you can respectfully comment on the text and suggest a revision to improve accuracy and avoid confusion (which is what I did). Here's the DNR contact page:

    DNR: Contact Us

At least the Hunting and Trapping guide reflects the new rules (even though the language isn't as accurate as it could be). That's more than can be said for all the state park brochures.

The "guide" has also said for years that if your home state does not issue handgun licenses you can not hunt in Indiana with a handgun.

I searched high and low and there is no IC or IAC that says this.

The only thing I could find was the IC that says all handgun licenses from other states are good in Indiana according to the terms thereof.
