Does anyone know if I as an Indiana resident can make a handgun or long gun purchase at a gun store in Ohio and take my purchase with me or do they have to be transfered to an FFL in Indiana?? Saw some good deals at a store there and don't want to make the 3 hour drive if I can't buy anything.

    Thanks in advance

Dude, buy and have it shipped..

Or, if you can get a printed ad, visit your local shop and see if they'll pricematch. It's worked for me..

. . . but you can buy the longun in the store and bring it back.

Provided that's legal in both Ohio and Indiana state law. Handguns have to go through an FFL in the buyer's state. Long guns, however, can go through an FFL in either state provided that the transaction also meets the laws of both States.
