Listing for sale my 1970 AMC Javelin SST Mark Donohue edition. This is a car my dad and I restored when I was in high-school and was my daily driver my senior year. After I got back from College life happened and I just didn't have time for it anymore. Before I knew it almost 20 years had past and I have a wife, 2 kids a full-time job and no time for muscle cars anymore. It's not been driven more than a few miles or a quick trip around town since 2007. It deserves a good home and someone who will appreciate it. This is a restomod car. Factory automatic converted to 4spd, 360ci engine bored to first over size and has roller valve rockers. It was a full roller but the cam was a little to hot for premium pump gas so we went back to original. I no longer have the roller cam. Paint is as close to original green as we could get. The scheme is not original to the car but was a factory option from AMC. The interior was professionally restored and color scheme matches the exterior. That was my idea, and I think it looks awesome. Car runs and drives fine but would recommend trailering it home as it's been a bit since it's driven any distance. Brakes were upgraded to a more modern, Chrysler?, system I think if I remember correctly, in roughly 2017. Windshield wipers do not currently work but could be fixed, missing driver's side door hold open, has a few minor nicks in the paint but nothing major. The fuel gage is also inaccurate. I think the sending unit needs replaced. A majority of the body work was done by me and a friend of my dad who is a professional paint/body man. I'd still consider it an amateur restoration and there are some imperfections. This would be a great driver if you don't want to get your real garage queen messy, it would be awesome to take to cruise-ins and weekend car shows and the like. Only needs a minor tune up, probably just clean the carb and call it good. Needs a bath but I'll take care of that.

    Clean Indiana title
    Up for auction on Hemmings

    Located in Martinsville,
    Cash or certified check only
Buyer is responsible for pickup as I have no way to transport it. Would recommend trailering it home and tuning it up before driving any long distance. But this car shouldnt need much to get her road worthy again.

Mark Donohue editions were only made in 1970 and very few were produced. Even fewer still exist.
When I get the chance I'm going to clean it up and list it on Hemmings. I figured I'd list it here in the mean time and give the INGO mortorheads a chance first.

After a little more research I've found my price was high. Adjusted to current market value.
