Just passed the 1250 round mark without one single issue. 1000 rounds of ball and 250 rounds of HST. Just got done cleaning it and man I love the smell of Lucas gun grease. So at what point do you start to trust a 1911 to be put into rotation?

Well my truck has been in the shop all week getting the transmission rebuilt. Can't work might as well shoot right. Has anyone ran the Wilson ETM mags? SO far this Sig mags have been 100% but I hear they have a short lifespan.

That is beautiful...for me, typically, somewhere between 750 and 1,000 rounds...so I'd say you're good! Be safe!

i would suggest after an amount of "carry" rounds fired with no problems, it goes into the rotation immediately. After all, it is a 1911.
