Has anyone ever had a glock slide powder coated? Or any gun for that matter of edc. If so how did it hold up to wear and heat. Thanks for any imput. I know there's dura coat and ceramic coat but heard mixed reviews plus powder coat is suppose to b so durable and last forever.

Fluidized bed technique application is usually 5-12 mills (.000") thick, whereas electrostatic application is 3-5 mills thick. Make sure your clearances are in check. As far as lasting "for ever" not too sure about that. It does wear under contact and it does chip, but never have used it on a slide. I've used it on motorcycle frames and automotive parts though.
