    In politics, there are small pendulum swings embedded in large pendulum swings. We may be on a rightward large one right now. Which is too bad. I probably won't live long enough to see the fruits of it. These things take a long time to develop. But, the new thing is the internet which speeds up the flow of information. So I don't know how that affects momentum. It probably destroys the pendulum.
    After we return to that about America which I wish to conserve, I could wish that the internet would damp the oscillations of that pendulum

    The attempt by online to deceive and propagandize is so much more obvious than the bias of legacy media was I could hope that the internet raises up a generation of cynics
