Police probe Fort Wayne shooting death

This story was just posted in the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette within the last hour. Link to story -> Police probe Fort Wayne shooting death | The Journal Gazette, Fort Wayne, Ind.

Basically, a guy hadn't seen his friend for a day, so he called the police. There was a single bullet hole in a window and the man was found shot to death inside his apartment.

My first thought was, "holy crap, a sniper got him!" But I guess the bullet could have gone out the window, too. Either way... *yikes*

wow. You would think if it was a drive by or something there would be more bullet holes and casings. Thats some friend to check up on him after a day, Ive gone weeks w/out seein or talking to some of my close friends

I looked at the picture, and it looks like there is a hole in the window, and in the miniblind in the window. Hard to tell from the picture to say for sure, but I think that's what I'm seeing.

So, question now is it an entrance or exit hole? Seems like a very unlucky random shot through the glass and blinds to take the guy out, unless like the OP said it was a sniper style shooting.

Yea I looked at the pic after I posted, it was a clean shot it looked like.
