Simichrome works well, most of the time that's what I use. Green polishing compound isn't bad either (works on knives and guns :yesway:)

I know a guy who uses jeweler's rouge with pretty good results

    Right here.
I use jewelers rouge and it leaves a highly mirrored finish that really lasts. Don't forget to polish the top of the barrel as well as the feed ramp.

We use the Green Polish from Harbor Freight. Use a Dremel polishing tip and you'll be pleased with the results

I have heard a lot about polishing the feedramp. i am a little skeptical about taking a dremmel to it. So with a polishing bit and the cleaner am i able to cause any damage? I am sending my wife's keltec pf9 and plr 16 to keltec, they do it for free.

I have polished unknown numbers of feed ramps with a Dremel and polishing bit. If the cloth wheel and tiny bit of abrasive compound damages the feed ramp I'd probably not be using that bbl anyway. I use Flitz or Semi Chrome paste and sometimes the red jewelers rouge stuff. I have never had a problem. :twocents:

I've polished a number of feed ramps on my guns and I usually start with 600g wet/dry sand paper, followed up with 1200g wet/dry and then finish with Flitz polish creme- working in the same direction as the cartridge feed. Works great!

This, except I use Mothers or 3M white.
