Did not see this in the other threads or in the paperwork. Applied for lifetime online, have my appointment for L1, can I go and pay downtown at the city county building before I go to L1?

"14. If you scheduled an appointment with L1 Identity Solutions, you will provide your fingerprints
and state fee through that service. After completing the L1 process, you will need to go to the
local law enforcement agency covering the jurisdiction in which you reside.
    You should take all
of your receipts. You will complete the application process and pay the local fee at the visit."

Of course, when I went, I had the L1 same day and went to the local PD and they were closed 1 min before the posted time. I had to wait a weekend until I could pay my local fee.

The quote above is from http://www.in.gov/isp/files/Instruc...plication_Process_effective_July1_2011(1).pdf

Not that I know of. When I did get there, that was pretty much all they asked: "Did you get your fingerprints taken by L1?" "Yes."
