    I disagree with this article:

I think the fact mentioned is one reason patriotism is making a comeback, but not the biggest reason. I think America has been hijacked by Left wing nutbags and people are finally waking up and realizing just how retarded the Left really is. They can see the policy failures, the disaster that is pretty much all Left wing run cities, the state of our economy thanks to senile Joe, etc.

There is nothing wrong with Patriotism. Citizens should be proud of their country, especially here in the US. We get media nuts and the Left talking about the "dangers of nationalism", but they can all go F themselves IMO.

I think you missed the points of the article and are misreading the people.

The word patriotism is nit in the article. If you think this is primarily driven by patriotism I just can’t see it. There is beginning to be some pushback of left crazy but not the leading of the movement.

The pocket book is what is fueling the populism and the primary factor raising Trump and likely raising awareness of the crazy…

The Left likes to conflate patriotism with nationalism, which I believe can be the same, but can be different. The article said that the one reason was the economy and I was disagreeing with that premise.

I think it's a contributing factor, but not the main one. People want a return to normalcy, including a better economy IMHO.
They'd do well to write their great great grandchildren a letter explaining what to look for and how to recognized a strong economy/country. We won't be seeing one again until they're of working age.

Have you ever noticed the majority of the communists and woke-peddlers are obscenely wealthy elite?

I am a patriot for the constitution, not the country as is. I am for US first and avoiding foreign entanglements, if that is what they call a nationalist then I am that as well.

I think they are using nationalist to try and label anyone opposed to a one world government in a negative light.
