Amazing how much time people waste and how congested parking lots get because people don't want to walk an extra 50'.

yeah it is funny...they will sit and wait 10 minutes for someone to move...you can go park and they are still waiting for that car to back out as you pass them heading inside

and it's usually the people who could use the extra steps...just my observation

I always laugh when I run inside McDonald's to grab an iced tea. I'm in and out because there's no line, but there'll be like 30 cars in the drive through.

Don't you love the ones that see a person push a heaping cart to a car and will wait while the person unloads it? I've seen a parking lot jammed clear up to entrance because of that.

These are the people I love, I'll relock the SUV and escort my cart personally back into the store just because of these impatient ones.:D

This always gets me too. Even a slow stroll will get you the length of a football field in well under a minute. Yet so many people will spend much longer than that trying to get a closer spot while holding up a dozen other people at the same time. :dunno:

near Bedford on a whole lot of land.
The ones itching to park closest are the ones that need to get out and walk more usually.

I always park on the far end of the lot since I enjoy a little extra walk. I do love slowly walking across the near end of the lot with my keys in my hand and when I get someone behind me waiting to see which spot I'll free up, I'll go between the cars like I'm getting into mine then go the next aisle.

What gets me is that these people can walk all over a super Walmart or the mall but can't walk more than 50' into the store.

I'll almost always go to the end of the line of the first aisle I pull into and leave a space or 2 between me and the last car. That way I can open my doors up and get out. My wife almost always will head for the aisle straight across from the door and we get stuck waiting on the walkers and cars.

Woah!! That's just pure evil.......I think I'll try that. :D ....repped

Sometimes I take great pleasure in this, there has been a couple of times I waved @ them with a pleasant smile.

My big gripe about parking lots are the amount of people with handicap permits hanging from their mirrors and get out and stroll up with hop and a skip to their step. Makes me wish I owned my own wrecker service with a hot line to the local PD.

I love that. My girlfriend usually will slap me and tell me I'm mean but to me it's so worth it :D

Ever notice that the one's with the handicapped stickers who obviously don't need that spot, are the same one's that leave their cart in the middle of the spot next to them when they leave? :xmad:

SERIOUSLY!!!!! I love seeing a huge drive through line, and NOBODY inside. I laugh all the way to the counter, then back to my car

My brother showed me a good one. Walk through a congested parking lot and wait till someone gets to following you waiting for you to get in your car. Get to your car and take your sweet time putting groceries away. Take cart back to corral and get in your car. Start the car, out it in reverse (they really lick there chops when they see the reverse lights). Then suddenly throw your hands up as to say ($*#!, I forgot something). Shut car off and head back inside the store.

The looks on faces are priceless, ever since he informed me of this little evil hobbby of his we have had some fun.

I always parked far away from the store until someone cut off my catalytic converter. Apparently using a battery powered buzz under a car in a busy parking lot is not suspicious

My wife, I hate to admit, is one of those people who needs to walk the extra 50 feet and then searches for a spot really close to the friggin' entrance.

I annoy her when I'm driving us to the local supermarket by parking as FAR AWAY AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE.

    ;D

I also walk the 1.5 miles to the Meijer just to prove a point. It feels good to use my legs.
