My wife and I attended our first 1500 on Friday and then again today. While the wait on Friday was a bit long, we had a great time. Sunday, we walked right in - no line at 11am.

While it was crowded both days, it was not nearly as bad as I had anticipated. We picked up some odds and ends as well as a Mossberg 590A1, and generally it was time well spent.

We spent Saturday hitting Plainfield and Bradis and checking out the new range at Beech Grove. It was a wonderful day and the wife now has a new Bersa 380.

I hope everyone else had as enjoyable a weekend as we did.

Glad to hear your weekend was a success.

I've always said and will still say, if you've got the patience to be around big crowds and waiting, the 1500 is always a good time.

Bersa 380..... such a popular pistol by many simply for the way it feels in peoples' hands. Congrats to your wife :rockwoot:

There is a lot to be said for how a firearm feels when you hold it. If it is not comfortable, you are never going to be happy with it. The Bersa just feels right - it has the same comfortable grip we feel with our Springfield XD. Of course, most of this has to do with the shape and size of your hand, and what feels "right" for one person is going to be uncomfortable for another. It does not mean that there is a problem with the weapon - just that it does or doesn't fit you.

I always enjoy the 1500. It cost no more than a movie and is great entertainment. I didnt go this time beacause of the lines, but am looking forward to the next one.

I sometimes dont buy a thing, it just fun looking around and seeing friends that share your sport.
